Fortec has welcomed six new members to its network, five of which have joined the pallet distribution sector for the first time.

Pharmadex Logistics in Hatfield; Surrey Pallets in Wimbledon; Threshers in Bristol; Masterfreight in Oldbury; Cammack in Colchester; and Nova in Birmingham have joined taking total network membership to 72.

Pharmadex was the only previous member of a pallet network, having moved from The Pallet Network.

Neil Hodgson, MD at Fortec, said: “These six new member partners add considerable quality and experience to the Fortec family of member partners.

“It is particularly significant that five of them have never been part of a pallet distribution network in the past but decided to join Fortec having looked at the other pallet networks.”

Marcus Fischer, Fortec’s commercial director (pictured), added that the network had experienced a very strong first six months to the year with “record volumes and turnover”.  Fortec is currently on its most signifcant IT project in a decade,  central to which is the rollout of  Fortec Connect, an Android app installed on Samsung Xcover2 hansets.
