Europa Road is to host a Brexit preparation webinar to help British businesses involved in import or export preapre for changes in customs processes in 2021.
The free webinar will be held online at 1030am on 17 November 2020 and will be of use to any businesses importing or exporting to or from the EU.
It will provide "no-nonsense advice" on the new regulations, alongside suitable solutions, with the Europa road freight team on hand to answer questions, address concerns and provide guidance.
Sales and branch network director at Europa, Dionne Redpath (pictured), said: “The Brexit transition period is quickly coming to an end. Soon all goods travelling between the UK and the EU will need to go through a customs process, whether there is a trade deal or not.
"As a leading logistics provider, our team has spent the last two years looking at every scenario to find innovative, slick solutions to simplify operations for our customers.
“Now we want to share that knowledge with businesses who perhaps feel less prepared. We know customs is bewildering and our number one priority is to cut through the complexity, making it as pain-free as possible for businesses that export or import. By providing guidance, advice and solutions, we want to give British businesses everything required for a successful start to 2021.”
With the UK’s largest European groupage hub in Dartford and a network of 13 UK branches, Europa Road is part of logistics operator Europa Worldwide Group. It operates daily direct services to 30 continental hubs, transporting over 45,000 consignments a month.
The Europa panel will include newly appointed head of customs, Lieven Hendrickx, who has worked with leading logistics operators across continental Europe and the Middle East for over 30 years.
The webinar follows the launch of Europa Road’s new product, Europa FLOW, a simple and effective customs process designed to preserve transit times and the flow of goods between the UK and Europe after the Brexit transition period comes to an end on 31 December.
