Europa Worldwide Group has achieved two globally recognised accreditations that demonstrate its dedication to reducing its environmental impact.

It achieved ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 across all its UK-based divisions: Europa Air & Sea, Europa Warehouse and Europa Road.

The company said the accreditations were ‘gold standards’ and recognised across the supply chain as a commitment to improving the sustainability of its operations.

ISO 50001 focuses on energy management and ISO 14001 concentrates on environmental protection.

Europa said it had undertaken six months of vigorous work to analyse and benchmark operational activities across its 17 UK sites, including resource usage, waste management and monitoring environmental performance.

In addition to the ISO accreditations, Europa has also partnered with Pledge to provide Scope 3 emissions reporting as well as Microlise to optimise fleet performance.
