Major distributor and manufacturer DCS Group has appointed XPO to provide full truckload and groupage services to the group’s extensive UK customer base.

Under the deal XPO’s technology, including its CO2 dashboard and AI route planning, will be used to help optimise route planning and reduce unnecessary miles.

In addition hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) will replace diesel in the fleet to support DCS Group’s sustainability goals.

DCS Group provides a range of services and manufacturing capabilities to support household brands including Colgate, Pampers, Cow & Gate, Lemsip, Calpol, Nurofen, Daz, and Surf. Other brands include Comfort, Febreze, Andrex, Fairy, Finish, Domestos, Winalot, Felix, Bakers, Pedigree, and Go Cat.
