Leighton Buzzard-based 3PL Miniclipper Logistics has selected .wms by THOMAX as its next-generation warehouse management system (WMS) to meet the needs of its expanding business.
The implementation, which will be rolled out between 2025 and 2027, follows significant growth of the firm’s warehousing division over the last 5 years.
This has seen the expansion of its Billington Road site in Leighton Buzzard, the opening of a new Burton-Upon-Trent facility in 2023, a sharp increase in inbound and outbound volumes, and a growing base of e-commerce customers.
The company said the new system, which was chosen after an extensive evaluation process, will give customers greater visibility into stock availability, self-service reporting, and the ability to edit orders directly within the system.
In addition, Miniclipper’s warehouse operators will benefit from its traffic-light alert system which improves accuracy, reduces paper reliance, and supports sustainability initiatives.
Cale Sweetlove, Miniclipper IT director, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with THOMAX to bring a cutting-edge WMS to Miniclipper.
“This investment ensures we remain at the forefront of warehousing technology, delivering faster, smarter, and more sustainable solutions for our customers.”
The company added that as Miniclipper continues to expand, .wms by THOMAX will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficiency, adaptability, and top-tier service for its growing customer base.
