Priority Freight has been presented with The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade by the Lord-Lieutenant of Kent at its HQ in Dover.

The award recognises the company’s good business practices and significant, sustained growth in overseas sales.

The Lord-Lieutenant of Kent, Lady Colgrain, presented the award to Priority Freight’s chief executive Neal Williams during a celebratory ceremony at its head office.

Staff gathered to welcome the esteemed guest who is His Majesty’s personal representative for Kent.

Williams said, “It is a great honour to receive such a distinguished award. We are exceptionally proud and would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the whole team.

“The King’s Award is another level of recognition within the logistics industry and beyond. It energises our team to keep innovating and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in logistics.

“The logistics industry has suffered waves of challenges in the past few years, such as Brexit, the crisis in the Red Sea and ongoing global conflicts. To achieve this award, despite the challenging backdrop is a tribute to our global teamwork’s agility.”

Priority Freight’s largest volume of work comes from the global automotive industry and it offers a range of services to support customers’ supply chains, including dedicated vehicles and on board couriers, air freight and project cargo management.
