Online car retailer Cazoo, shortlisted in the Customer Care category of the 2021 MT Awards, has opened a customer centre in Carlisle – its 18th in the last 10 months.
The company owns and reconditions all its cars before offering them for sale for either delivery or collection within 72 hours.
Cazoo has invested £1m in its latest customer centre on the Kingston industrial estate and created 15 jobs – and buyers now have the option of a ‘click and collect’ service or home delivery.
Alex Chesterman, Cazoo founder and CEO, said: “We have been delighted by the response of consumers to our online car buying proposition.
“Our new customer centres provide more options for our customers on how they want to receive their Cazoo car and also allow us to serve them better post-sale through our own service centres.”
Cazoo currently holds standard national operator licences in all traffic areas.
