Parcel delivery company Evri has rolled out a new returns service for its business customers, aimed predominately at SMEs and marketplace traders.
The new service allows smaller retailers to give their customers access to Evri’s returns portal, where they will be able to choose from a drop-down box and print a returns label automatically without the need to fill in any name and address fields.
This can be done at home or at one of Evri’s 8,000-plus ParcelShops that are located nationwide.
Retailers can then add a range of options including free returns, ParcelShop drop off and/or courier collection.

This service is available for all SME business customers, regardless of volume with each return going directly to the retailer on a two to three day service.
Announcing the move, Evri said: “This means that, in addition to increasing the convenience for customers, it will also speed up the returns process enabling retailers to process refunds quicker and get stock back out for sale sooner.”
Jade Tovey Richardson, Evri head of SME, added: “As customer expectations around the returns process continue to rise, it is increasingly becoming an area that can be a real competitive advantage.
“Speed and convenience are the key factors and our new solution for our SME and Marketplace customers delivers on both, benefiting both the retailer and their customers.”
