Pallet-Track’s Wigan hub has hit its two millionth pallet milestone less than five years after it opened. The 70,000sq ft Ashton-in-Makerfield site was selected because of its close proximity to the motorway network and initially engaged with 30 of Pallet-Track’s shareholder members. Simpson Logistics ran out of road due to a customer dispute and creditors chasing payment, says administrator
Administrators handling the affairs of County Durham haulier Simpsons Logistics said it had stopped trading due to a combination of cash flow issues, a customer dispute and a winding up petition.
Palletways member TAS Transport has ceased trading and been placed into administration, motortransport.co.uk can reveal.
