L Lynch Plant Hire and Haulage has taken delivery of a number of Scania tippers with low height L-series cabs for muckaway work on the HS2 rail project.
The 32-tonne vehicles are based on Scania’s L 360 B8x4NB rear-steer double drive chassis and are equipped with 14 cu m Loadmaster Lite bodies.
The trucks’ low datum L-series cabs were specified to achieve Transport for London’s 5-star DVS rating and included within the spec is Scania’s City Safe window, designed to enhance the safety of vulnerable road users.
