Matthew Kibble Transport has taken on 10 new EN-XL rated SDC curtainsiders for its general haulage and Pallet-Track operations. Built to a premium component specification, the trailers have been fitted with tuck away tail lifts, BPW Eco-Plus axles, Haldex third generation braking systems with roll stability, full LED lighting, as well as tracking systems. Chairman Matthew Kibble said the purchases were in response to increasing demand for the East Lancashire’s firm’s transport services.
Willmotts Transport in Shepton Mallet has added 30 Tiger Trailer curtainsiders to its fleet, as well as a smaller quantity of single-temperature reefers.

Langdons has taken on two more trailers from Gray & Adams to boost its urban delivery operations in cities in Scotland. The trailers are equipped with Anteo tuck-under tail-lifts, Whiting roller shutter doors and the latest Thermo-King Spectrum fridge units to cope with urban deliveries. The tractor units can also operate on overnight trunk routes using standard length trailers, resulting in greater operational efficiency.
