CEVA Logistics has won a five-year contract with Airbus, managing spare parts and components at the aircraft manufacturer’s site in Hamburg. Starting this month, the contract involves consolidating the parts at the German site from locations across Europe, including France, Spain and the UK, as well as Germany. Meachers Global Logistics has won a major contract renewal with cruise ship operator Carnival UK, following a competitive tender process. The Southampton-based operator’s relationship with Carnival stretches back 14 years, and Meachers already manages the company’s supply chain for its vessel fleet. This includes providing inventory control, warehousing, consolidation, pick and pack, and back office support services. Palletways has won a £2m, 12-month rolling contract with Better Bathrooms.com that will see the network move some 70,000 pallets a year. Bathroom furniture, accessories and suites will be transported from Palletways hubs in Fradley, Staffs; Greenford, London and Livingston, West Lothian.
