Container haulier Pentalver Cannock said a rise in turnover and pre-tax profit during 2017 was essentially down to the continuing improvement in trading conditions since the economic downturn. United Pallet Network member DBL Logistics has secured £1.8m of funding from HSBC to expand the business with a new 50,000ft² Sheffield DC. Due for completion in January 2013, the new site will run in tandem with DBL’s existing 25,000ft² facility in the Sheffield Business Park, and the company hopes additional volumes will boost its annual turnover, currently £3m per year.
