Union GMB is to ballot members at Bidvest Logistics after the company reconsidered the amount it was to increase employees’ pay by. Wincanton drivers working for Argos have voted to accept a deal offered to them by the operator to prevent them from taking planned strike action.
DPD is to deploy and additional 200 staff and open an extra London depot to minimise disruption resulting from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
