Marks & Spencer shaved 8.3% off its distribution costs last year. In its latest results, for the year ended 28 March 2015, the retail giant spent £408.7m on its distribution activities, down from £445.5m the previous year. Dairy Crest has expanded its relationship with Gist, incorporating cream and flavoured milk into its existing milk supply chain operations for a major retailer.
Clipper Logistics has won a contract with retail giant Marks and Spencer (M&S) following a successful trial of the operator’s returns management service.
