Potter Logistics is celebrating 50 years in business with an order for two Mercedes-Benz Antos tractor units. The vehicles, which will have personalised registration plates to reflect the multimodal operator’s milestone, are expected to be delivered next month. The Potter Group has officially begun marketing itself as a Palletline member, following its takeover of pallet network member House of James in May. Palletline now has a dedicated page with contact details on the Ripon-based multi-modal company’s website, after Potter received permission to join from the network’s executive early this year. East Anglia’s Mercedes-Benz dealer Orwell Truck & Van has spent £600,000 on a new VOSA-approved Authorised Test Facility (ATF). The dedicated lane is at Orwell’s headquarters on the Martlesham Heath Business Park, Ipswich. Service director Steve Webb says: “We have always prepared vehicles for MoT testing.
