Kent operator Castledene Transport has left Pallet-Track after nine years to join rival network Palletline. Castledene, which runs 40 vehicles and has sites in Aylesford, Maidstone and Sheerness, will cover the ME postcode for Palletline, an area it formerly covered for Pallet-Track. The assets and business of Palletline Logistics (Midlands) were bought for £71,000 in a pre-pack deal in July by newly formed Global Logistics Central on the same day the former went into administration, according to administrator RSM Tenon.
Creditors of Palletline Logistics (Midlands) have voted in favour of the company voluntary arrangement (CVA) applied for by the haulier last month.
