Sock manufacturer Sox Express has expanded the scope of its relationship with Advanced Supply Chain.
Advanced Supply Chain will now provide all of the manufacturer's warehousing requirements, in addition to transport services, for Sox customer Asda.
Sox Express operations director Robert Leckie said: "We had used Advanced delivering product to our customer's distribution centres and were so impressed by the people and the service that we moved our entire warehousing contract to them as well."
Advanced Supply Chain chief executive Mike Danby said: “This contract extension further cements our relationship with Sox Express and is a clear indicator of our great levels of customer service.
"It’s good to see that we have built up such close working relationships and we look forward to delivering their expansion plans.”
The Ireland-based sock manufacturer is currently looking to gain a foothold in Europe. It produces nearly 100 million pairs of socks each year for customers including Matalan, George at Asda, H&M and Irish retailer Dunnes.
