Courier franchise network Diamond Logistics opened four new depots last month as it continues with ambitions to operate over 30 sites by the end of 2015.
The new sites in Croydon, Norwich, Newcastle and Ashburton in south Devon were opened in July to allow the franchises to grow before the Christmas peak begins in Autumn.
The company, which provides parcel delivery services as well as stock management software and film delivery to cinemas, formerly operated out of two depots in Southampton and Chichester, West Sussex.
Founder and CEO Kate Lester said the firm will continue with its plans to expand its network with the opening of a further 20 franchises in the first half of 2014.
Diamond is looking to operate a network of over 30 franchises across the UK by the end of 2015, she added.
“We are pursuing expansion plans over the next 22 months to facilitate the creation of the largest UK network of quality led couriers to provide non stop same-day, overnight and international deliveries, including a regional warehousing function,” Lester said.
The franchises currently operate their own light vans or rigids in a Diamond Logistics livery.
