DHL Supply Chain has opened a £100m, 111,483m2 distribution hub in Avonmouth, Bristol, for The Range that will “substantially improve the logistics infrastructure and reduce transport mileage” for the retailer. DHL Supply Chain is facing up to 15 days of strike action from its warehouse workers in protest at the “brutal” planned closure of its South Yorkshire site, following the loss of a contract to Great Bear Distribution.
A strike set to affect DHL’s operations in South Yorkshire has been halted after staff accepted an improved pay deal.
