Yodel has won back a 12-month rolling contract with online retail group The Hut Group, covering 24-hour, 48-hour and standard packet delivery.
The parcel carrier will make deliveries across the UK for The Hut Group’s brands, which include beauty retailer Lookfantastic.com, cycle website Probikekit.co.uk and sports nutrition retailer Myprotein.com.
The customer will offer Yodel’s six days a week delivery as standard, but will give shoppers the option of 24-hour delivery. It will also offer a similar 48-hour delivery service.
Yodel executive chairman Dick Stead, said: “We are excited to be working with The Hut Group again. A returning client is a great accolade for Yodel. Through our partnership, customers will be able to purchase luxury brands and a wide range of lifestyle products from the comfort of their own home and receive them the very next day.”
The Hut Group chief financial officer and co-founder, John Gallemore, said: “Having worked with Yodel before we knew that their strong collaborative approach and range of services meant that they would be able to provide solutions to suit our wide variety of customer bases."
Yodel's chief executive Neil Lloyd recently revealed to Motortransport.co.uk that the carrier is focusing on driving value instead of volume.
