Wincanton has won a contract to provide warehousing and transport services for Brompton Bicycle, the UK’s largest bike manufacturer and creator of the iconic folding bike.

The four-year deal involves Wincanton consolidating the bike company’s network of warehouses in London into a single facility in Greenford.

This site, located close to Brompton’s manufacturing facility, will be operated by Wincanton on behalf of the business.

Laurent Ramanathan, Brompton supply chain director, said it had been impressed by the logistics company’s commitment to customer service, driving efficiencies and productivity:
