Charging network service provider Voltloader has appointed two new senior team members to supports its strategic growth plans and position the business for future funding.

Teresa Bristol has joined as chief operating officer (COO), while John Whybrow has been appointed as chief technology officer (CTO).

Voltloader said Bristol had extensive experience in the sustainability sector and had previously held senior leadership roles in energy and electrification, including at Gridserve and Lightsource bp.

Whybrow led the eHGV programme at Gridserve and was also MD at energy solutions business Electric Horse and smart energy lead at Hitachi Europe.

Voltloader added that Whybrow would be responsible for leading the roll-out of the company’s national charging network and Bristol would oversee daily operations and execute its growth strategy.
