The Pallet Network (TPN) saw the number of member companies achieving elite performance levels grow by 300% during 2019.

The number of members achieving KPI scores over 99% rose from eight to 24 in 2019, more than a fifth of TPN’s total membership.

“To achieve 99% KPIs across the board for a full 12 months, a member’s operation has to be virtually flawless,” said TPN MD Mark Duggan. “It is a monumental feat of logistics excellence.

"For our members to have scored so highly is a testament to the professionalism of the network, the dedication of those depots and TPN’s collaborative ethos.”

Although 22% of the network scored above 99%, the network as a whole is less than one percentage point behind them, TPN also revealed.

The elite performers include some relative newcomers to the network. These will have effectively achieved better than 99% on every KPI since going live.

“There isn’t a network in the UK which can match us for customer satisfaction or service levels,” continued Duggan. “We spent a lot of time supporting new members both before and after their operation goes live. We offer training and support with every aspect of the operations from sales to delivery. This unstinting support pays off because those members have excellence as a starting point.”
