Sovereign Transport has won a contract to become the sole haulier for online bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing.

The Merseyside-based haulier, which is a member of Palletways pallet network, previously did some European work for the bathroom retailer. However, post deal it has taken on responsibility for all of Victorian Plumbing's deliveries across Europe and the UK.

Rachel Forshaw, sales manager at Sovereign Transport, said: “This is not just a contract win for us but a great partnership. Our partnership has grown rapidly and with the expertise of both companies, the handling of over 30,000 pallets has been largely trouble free”.

Sovereign Transport has recently purchased land for a brand new depot on the Knowseley Industrial Park in Merseyside. It has a fleet of 24 vehicles.
