NFT has won what it has described as a “significant contract” to provide UK-wide temperature-controlled distribution to Southern Salads.
Given the seasonal supply demands associated with sales of salad products, the deal sees Southern Salads move away from its own transport fleet and utilise not just NFT’s, but also NFT's wider network of hauliers.
Jason Boakes, operations director at Southern Salads said that NFT’s offering had “delivered for our business on all fronts”.
“Specifically, it has allowed us to focus on our core objectives of growing the business further due to NFT’s heritage in retailer relationships,” said Boakes.
“NFT’s approach overall has been first-class; both in collaboration on vehicle legacy issues, and a highly professional seamless implementation.”
In January NFT won a three-year contract with Yoplait UK
