Hazardous goods supplier ASK Chemicals has awarded a five year contract to Potter Logistics, worth £500,000.
The new contract will see Potter Logistics store and handle flammable substances and other hazardous goods at Potter’s Droitwich DC.
Some 600 tonnes of ASK products a month will be delivered to the DC, where they will be stored in a 40,000 ft² warehouse for highly flammable liquids.
As part of the contract, it has extended its office space at the DC by nearly 2,000 ft² and ASK Chemicals will use the refurbished building as its headquarters.
ASK Chemicals MD Philip Vernon said: “Potter has already demonstrated its professionalism and ability to handle our product range. I am therefore very confident that we are heading towards a strong and growing partnership.”
Potter Logistics unveiled its new livery on 1 January and changed its name from Potter Group Logistics.
