Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior has extended its contract with Bibby Distribution for a further three years.

The contract has grown to include transport from the firm’s new facility in Edison Road, Hams Hall, in addition to warehousing and transport between its manufacturing plants in Measham, Derbyshire, and Faraday Road, Hams Hall.

Bibby Distribution also delivers finished products to car manufacturers across the West Midlands and Cheshire.

The operator runs fifteen vehicles on behalf of Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior. It also plans to add a number of longer semi-trailers to its dedicated fleet in the coming months, increasing volume capacity by 20%.

Ian Tate, supply chain manager at Plastic Omnium, said: “Since its acquisition of TM Logistics in 2010, with whom we held the initial contract, Bibby Distribution has proven that it has a professional and supportive approach to our requirements and is capable of reacting quickly to upturns in volume.

"This confidence in the team has led to the award of additional business.”
