Woking-based muck away and aggregates haulier Atlas Bulk Carriers has become the latest company in the industry to succumb to administration.
Operating for more than 50 years, the Surrey firm, which also carries out maintenance and HGV repairs, called in insolvency practitioners from FRP Advisory last week.
It operates out of a base on the Martlands industrial estate in Woking and holds a licence authorising 28 lorries and six trailers.
It provides services across London and the Home Counties and its last available set of accounts said it employed 30 staff in 2025.
Atlas Bulk Carriers started in 1972 with just one six-wheel tipper and is FORS silver and CLOCS accredited.
FRP had not yet responded as we went to press.
