Kammac, a leading third-party logistics provider, has expanded its e-commerce fulfilment team due to a ”significant” influx of customers, the company revealed this week.
Over the past year, Kammac has welcomed 30 new e-commerce clients and recruited five new team members, along with internal promotions to enhance its workforce.
Operating from Kammac’s Skelmersdale headquarters, the team now covers diverse roles aimed at improving service capabilities.
Alec Hunt has been promoted to director of e-commerce and value added services, with a brief to lead project management, provide strategic direction on innovation, and focus on digitalisation.
The new team aims to optimise logistics and efficiency by streamlining order processes and enhancing customer service.
Announcing the expansion, the company said: “New roles such as network development and operations support managers, junior project managers, and systems and implementation co-ordinators are crucial for implementing innovative solutions.”
Kammac has also introduced two new departments focused on project management and operational onboarding support, designed to improve collaboration and accelerate response times.
