Same day courier service Speedy Freight is opening its first office in the USA, in Dallas, Texas, following year-on-year “outstanding” growth.

The company said it has chosen Dallas for its for its firt US office because of its size, central US position and high level of commercial activity, which it says is perfect for express logistics.

The Dallas office will cater to all 3PL requirements, including full truckloads, less-than-full truckloads, drayage, express same day requirements and cross border operations.

The launch of the US office follows Speedy Freight’s recent European expansion, with offices opening in Dublin and Spain in recent years.

The logistics process will be managed end to end using Speedy Freight’s in-house developed bespoke software, which handles job management and provides status updates and customer access via an online customer portal.

Through this, clients will have full visibility of quotes, active jobs and invoices in one place, whilst working in tandem with a local office-based team offering customer centric service.

Speedy Freight is also set to launch its in-house developed fulfilment offering, which will kick off in the UK this spring.
