Peterborough-based Davis-Wright Haulage has filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator (NOI).
Davis-Wright is a family-led firm which was launched in 2020. It specialises in the construction sector and provides aggregate transport, limestone, commercial and construction haulage, and muckaway services and plant hire.
It has an operating licence for 12 trucks and two trailers operating out of depots at Bourne, Stamford, Grantham and Boston, Lincolnshire.
The company filed the papers in court on 14 April via law firm Birketts. The NOI protects the company from creditor action for 10 days, allowing it time to arrange rescue options such as a pre-pack administration or a Company Voluntary Arrangement.
Attempts by MT to contact the company have yet to succeed.
