Dash Express, a division of The Dash Group and part of The APC delivery network, has opened a new, larger site located in Cullompton.
Located just 14 miles outside of Exeter, the new site will strengthen Dash Express’ regional presence and achieve full service coverage across the South West, with the company also expanding its delivery coverage to include Taunton, Somerset and North Devon. The company also operates sites in Plymouth and Redruth.
The new 11,000sq ft facility marks a major milestone in The Dash Group’s regional growth strategy, doubling Dash Express’ previous capacity and providing improved access to the M5 corridor.
By bringing together operations previously managed across Exeter and North Devon, Dash Express said it will also be able to improve operational efficiency and deliver an even higher level of service for SMEs across Devon, Cornwall and parts of Somerset and Dorset.

Dash Express’ new facility will employ a team of more than 35 people.
Mike Read will head up the Exeter business as depot general manager, having recently transferred from Dash Express’ Plymouth site.
The company said Read’s experience and leadership will be key as the business continues to strengthen its presence in Exeter.
