Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has pipped its rivals to a three-year storage and distribution contract with pesticides firm Makhteshim-Agan (MAUK).
Following a competitive tender, ND will handle incoming products, the provision of bonded storage at its Top Tier COMAH facility at Amber Park, near Mansfield, and the onward distribution of customer orders the next day via its packed chemicals ADR fleet.
ND has also extend MAUK's order cut-off from 2pm to 4pm for next-day delivery, as well as launching a daily, next-day operation for its Scottish customers.
As well as storage and delivery, ND will also be providing services, such as the repacking of liquids and pellets from bulk to smaller packs; relabeling of existing product and sample management of MAUK’s branded off-patent crop protection products..
MAUK finance director Mark Sabine said: “Following a highly successful trial period, resulting in improvements to our customer service levels and also the quality of locally re-packaged product, we look forward to working in partnership with ND as we continue to develop and grow our business into the future."
Earlier this month, ND revealed it was rolling out Isotrak tanker technology across its tanker division.
