Third-party logistics services provider Norbert Dentressangle has been awarded a contract for warehousing and store deliveries by outdoor equipment and clothing retailer Go Outdoors, replacing former supplier Advanced Supply Chain.
Go Outdoors, which provides equipment and clothes for a wide range of outdoor activities including camping, cycling, walking, fishing and skiing, currently runs 49 retail stores. Store deliveries will be carried out via ND’s national pallet network.
ND’s appointment is part of the retailer’s plan to transform its supply chain and provide a strong foundation for future expansion.
“We are pleased to have Norbert Dentressangle on board to handle our store logistics and own-label distribution as we enter the next phase of our development,” said Go Outdoors chief executive, Chris Matthews. “We have strong growth plans for the UK and look forward to working with them to develop this, placing the needs of our customers at the centre of our supply chain.”
Advanced Supply Chain previously held the contract for three years in a deal which ended this autumn.
