Norbert Dentressangle has won a new three-year contract from Premium Timber Products to deliver goods to customers throughout the UK and Ireland.

The multi-million pound contract will see ND pick up timber and PVCU products including doors, decking and shelving from Premium Timber’s 140,000ft² warehouse in Somerset and its 160,000ft² warehouse in West Yorkshire and deliver to over 300 sites a week throughout the UK and Ireland, including the Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Deliveries will be made to furniture manufacturers, timber merchants and retail stores, including a number of B&Q outlets.

ND will use a fleet of dedicated vehicles operating from distribution hubs in Weare and Dewsbury for the contract.

Premium Timber chief executive Clive Gardner said the new deal, which extends a relationship between the two firms that first began in 2005, would allow it to respond effectively to peak order demands and special requests.
