Norbert Dentressangle has renewed its contract with Tesco to manage 12 of its recycling service units (RSUs) and won a new contract to maintain the retailers loose equipment fleet.
The new contract will see ND service and maintain more than a million roll cages, as well as trays, buckets and dollies for Tesco providing repair services at the supermarket chain’s 22 distribution centres in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The Tesco RSU network was set up in 1995 and handles loose equipment and packaging for some 2,200 stores. Christian Salvesen signed a 10 year contract to manage the network in 2001. ND acquired Salvesen in December 2007.
