LoCity has made available a Commercial Vehicle Finder tool, designed to provide fleet operators with information about alternatively-fuelled vans and trucks, at today’s Freight in the City Expo.
The free tool, which works via a browser, allows users to select a vehicle type and the operational situation it will be used in, such as urban or trunking for example.
Users can also input their average daily mileage and the time the vehicle will remain in their fleet before receiving a list of relevant alternative-fuelled options.
LoCity, an industry led initiative backed by TfL, plans to develop the tool further as it captures information about the way users are using it.
LoCity has also published two video case studies on electric vehicles and the benefits of low emission commercial vehicles.
