Evri has ordered 139 twin-axle van trailers from Tiger, branded in the parcel company’s 50th anniversary livery.

The trailers are being delivered in three batches, with the first currently nearing completion and the remainder to be delivered by Q4 in time for the Black Friday retail period and Christmas.

David Landy, Evri’s head of fleet, said: “We’re delighted with the new trailers, they look great and are helping us celebrate our heritage and 50 years of courier deliveries.

“We have a great relationship with Tiger and they have been superb in meeting our unique needs for the new trailers.”

The new trailers measure four metres in height and have been manufactured to Evri’s specific requirements, with galvanised rear frames and integrated rear buffers.

Tiger Trailers’ sales director Darren Holland said: “It’s fantastic that we are continuing to strengthen the relationship with the Evri team.

“At each enquiry stage we go through the same process of evaluation of the existing fleet to ensure that the final trailer design is perfect for the Evri operation. We are very proud of the relationship and the final trailers that we are supplying into their operation.”

This latest order will take Evri’s Tiger Trailers fleet to over 525.
