A Bedfordshire haulier operating 30 HGVs out of three bases has filed papers to appoint an administrator.

Strata Logistics was established in 2014 and undertakes chilled and frozen transport, as well as parcel deliveries and specialist heavy transport.

The haulier runs trucks out of operating centres in Sandy, Bedford and Biggleswade.

It filed an application in court notifying its intention to appoint administrators on 11 March.

When Motor Transport contacted sole director Paul White, he said he was not in a position to comment and declined to answer any more questions.

The company’s website said it handled between 100 and 150 loads a day and covered Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and North London.

Its last available set of accounts for the year ending 31 March 2024 said it employed around 19 members of staff
