Culina Logistics has won a new contract with food manufacturer The Redwood Wholefood Company to distribute its products to leading multiples and independent retailers.
The contract is being managed from Culina’s Milton Keynes depot.
Corby, Northamptonshire-based Redwood decided to change supplier in order to address a number of operational issues – in particular, to improve service levels and ensure consignments were delivered at the times agreed with retailers, said Culina.
The logistics services supplier is providing a combined stockholding and cross-docking service to Redwood using its shared user distribution model across a network of 10 depots.
The switch has already resulted in a significant reduction in missed delivery slots, added Culina.
