A major new retail and trade park development has been announced on the site of a former Co-op supermarket in Tamworth.
Demolition work has already begun on the 80,000sq ft site and construction is expected to take 52 weeks, with Lidl, B&M, KFC, Starbucks, Greggs, Subway and Travis Perkins signed up as tenants.
GMI Construction Group, which has been appointed by Hawkstone Vale Developments to construct the park, said the outlet would breathe new life into a redundant site, creating new and substantial local employment.
