Driver shortage hits Hoyer fuel deliveries for BP prompting panic buying fears

BP has opened its first ultra-fast-charging facilities aimed at medium and heavy-duty electric trucks.

The government’s decision to push back the introduction of health certification of imported products of animal origin, including many food and drink items, is creating uncertainty and instability for operators, Logistics UK said this week.

Fuel hauliers have welcomed the launch of a national training safety-standard for tanker drivers, and are gearing up to put their staff through the Petroleum Drivers’ Passport (PDP) scheme.
