Attendees at the CM Show can see first-hand how Lytx machine vision and artificial intelligence-powered solutions help equip fleet managers with the tools to proactively tackle some of the toughest problems facing their drivers today, such as distracted driving.

Damian Penney, vice president of Lytx Europe, said: ‘‘We’re delighted to participate in this year’s virtual Commercial Motor show where we will be discussing the solutions fleet managers can put in place to support their most important asset – the driver.

‘‘2020 has proved to be a challenging year, with many delivery vehicles under increased pressure to get goods from A to B faster, whilst also worrying about what is happening at home and with their families."

Lytx technology is validated and backed by the largest and fastest-growing driving database of its kind, which grows by more than 140,000 new driving events each day, further training and improving its algorithms.

"This data is incorporated into a system that is able to deliver greater than 95% accuracy across 60 behaviors – unmatched by competitors in the industry,” Penney went on. ‘‘Compared to other video telematics, in which event capture is triggered by accelerometers alone, Lytx MV+AI enables fleets and empowers drivers to identify and correct significantly more risk, both inside and outside of the vehicle, including smoking, eating and drinking and using a handheld device while driving.

‘‘Now, more than ever, we need to ensure that conversations about driver safety are continuing to take place and this event is the perfect arena to share industry experiences and knowledge."
