The deadline to enter the 2020 Motor Transport Awards has now passed and the judges have started the process of reviewing the entries.
This year, to reflect the increasing pace of adoption of electric and other alternative fuelled vans, the awards include two new categories: Clean Fleet Van of the Year sponsored by Close Brothers Vehicle Hire and Clean Fleet Van Operator of the Year sponsored by Renault Trucks.
The shortlist is due to be revealed in the April 13 issue of MT and the 34th Motor Transport Awards are planned to be presented at the Grosvenor House Hotel on the biggest night in road transport on 1 July.
The health and safety of our delegates, attendees and event partners are of the utmost importance to us. Our Emergency Response Plan has been activated as we closely monitor developments in the coronavirus situation. Our approach is to continue to follow the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities’ recommendations. At this juncture, no concern has been raised over the event and there are no travel or trade restrictions in this region.
