The founder of Leeds-based Clipper Logistics is reported to be lining up a £300m takeover bid to take the company private. Clipper has signed a lease on a new DC to handle its new contract with Zara parent company Inditex.
Clipper Logistics Group has been awarded a contract with Wilkinson to handle its internet sales operation. It has been offering a range of customer delivery options for the retailer, including home delivery and click and collect from store, since the contract began in early autumn.
