Lockwood Haulage saw its annual turnover climb by almost 20% to £17.5m in its latest reporting period, thanks to new wins and the development of existing partnerships. Fowler Welch boosted revenue 6% to £152.4m for the year ended 31 March, with pre-tax profit up to £3.9m, from £2.6m the previous year. The FMCG specialist downsized its container division in the period, with the closure of its Felixstowe site.
