City Link’s administrators have made more than 2,300 staff at the failed business redundant.
City Link’s administrator has revised up the amount it believes non-preferential creditors are owed by the collapsed parcel carrier. However, it said it is still waiting to hear from creditors that are owed a total of £12.8m that have not submitted a claim. Ashleigh Wight
City Link’s profit and volumes suffered as it fell victim to lower than expected demand during the Olympic Games. The parcel firm posted a turnover of £76.2m for the three months ending 30 September, a 2.4% increase on the same period in 2011.
