BP says it is “disappointed” that the Unite union’s tanker driver members have voted in favour of industrial action over safety, training and terms and conditions. Hoyer says 2012, and the medium term future, will be a “challenging period” as the bulk liquid giant reported a 6.8% fall in pre-tax profit to £3.5m for the year ending 31 December 2011 (2010: £3.8m).
