The Queensferry Crossing has been officially opened by the Queen, after six years of work on the £1.35bn structure. Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire-based Buffaload Logistics has entered into a joint venture with Chiltern Cold Storage Group to open a new 22,000ft² chilled storage facility in Livingston, Scotland from mid-March.
Two-person delivery company ArrowXL is trialling an extension to its established Highland service with Argos which will see customers on the main Scottish islands – including Shetland – able to order large items for home delivery from the online retailer on an available day of their choice at prices matching the rest of the UK.
