The Queensferry Crossing has been officially opened by the Queen, after six years of work on the £1.35bn structure. Scottish hauliers have expressed fears for the viability of their businesses following the revelation that they would have to pay to use UK roads if Scotland votes for independence.
Proposals for an independent Scotland include a promise to renationalise the Royal Mail, examine a fuel duty regulator and streamline government services including Vosa.
